Small 19th century miner's oil lamp. 9.5 cm round body, articulated round stirrup with two olives, suspension arm with articulated hook. Chiseled rooster clasp, (Rooster meaning “courage and bravery”), a nod to the treacherous work of the miner. This is a beautiful example in good condition, with traces and patina of use. Height with hook 36.5 cm.
