Money-changer's balance complete with beam, pan and weights.
Label inside the lid, reading "Au P couronné Rue St Denis, N°73, vis-à-vis celle des Lombards, au coin de la petite Place Gastine, Charpentier, Balancier Ajusteur du Trésor de la Couronne et de la Banque de France" and handwritten annotations in ink.
