In China, as in Tibet, the bell has a special symbolism.
The bell is a decorated hollow metal ball with holes in it.
It contains a loose metal core which, when agitated, rings out like a bell.
This highly symbolic object expresses the sudden desire that stirs joy.
The bell expresses a desire to amuse oneself, to have a good time, to enjoy life, or to draw attention to oneself.
It can also allude to a childish attitude, a lack of seriousness, a loss of credibility.
Its strong point is undoubtedly a lack of discretion.
