Buffet/sideboard in Macassar ebony veneer, curved shape, with two doors, on a recessed base with its 3 cm thick yellow onyx slab. Interior with shelves. Furniture stamped, bottom right, Jean Fauré with his initials. Period circa 1930/35 Restored furniture with buffer varnish finish. Length: 150 cm Height: 93 cm Depth: 49 cm Jean Fauré (1896 - 1983), Toulouse cabinetmaker-decorator. By engaging in art deco, Jean Fauré created original furniture built according to his own criteria and, where aesthetics took precedence, with the combination of noble species (Macassar, rosewood, amboyna, amaranth, avodire... ) and bronze ornaments.
