Rare subject in tinted marble mounted on a bronze base ''lion devouring an antelope'' signed in intaglio G GARDET on the marble terrace.
Beautiful finesse of execution and sculpture (possibly a unique piece in marble, I found this subject only in bronze).

Period: around 1910-1925.

Very good condition, no shock, little or no wear, nice old patina.
