All eight glasses are in 'mind condition' but without factory label (Orrefors Sweden).
Eva (Margareta) Englund (Sweden 1937-1998) was a Swedish designer and glass artist, who further developed the advanced Grail glass technique. She trained at Konstfack and worked for Orrefors from 1974 to 1990.
Orrefors Kosta Boda AB was a glass factory in the Swedish village of Orrefors in Småland, founded in 1898 on the site of an older ironworks.
Until 1913, the company mainly produced window glass and bottles. Later Orrefors manufactured crystal glass and art glass. The range consisted of crystal glassware, tableware, vases and sculptures and lighting products in crystal. The glass factory in Orrefors closed in 2012.
The glasses are from the so-called 'Maja' series (from 1977) and they are signed as “EE.IS” 1x and “EE YF” 3x, for the wine glasses and “EE.IS” 3x and “EE YF” 1x for the champagne glasses
They are painted by hand.

Provenance: purchased directly in Orrefors, Småland by a Dutch private collector in 1992, since then in the collection so no interruption in the provenance history.
