- Large polychrome wooden sculpture representing Christ dying on the cross (now disappeared), dressed in a single perizonium, his eyes still open, his mouth half open. In an attitude of resignation and abandonment, his head is inclined on his right shoulder. He seems to be depicted as in his last breath.
- The qualities of this sculpture lie in the force of expression of the face; the open mouth and eyes give this figure a realistic expression, the face imbued with sadness, tranquility and humanity. And also in the very delicate treatment of the sculpture, particularly at the level of the undulations of the hair and beard, the moving draping of the perizonium, and the musculature which is outlined on the body of Christ allowing for subtle plays of light.
-Baroque work from the end of the 17th century. Sculpture presented on a wooden base.
- Visible missing parts (arms and feet), slits in the back of Christ
- Dimensions: Height of Christ: 93 cm Width: 20 cm Depth: 18 cm Height with base: 102cm
