A rare Virgin and Child in cast, gilded and chased bronze; a work of very fine craftsmanship, similar to the Mosan Virgins, whose characteristics it displays.

Standing with her head covered by a veil or "chemise", the Virgin is crowned and wearing a long, draped gown and a large mantle, the right flap of which, raised by its lower edge, cascades into long, drooping folds.
In her right hand, she holds a flower, and in her left, she carries the Child, who in turn holds an apple in his left hand, and with his right hand, grasps the edge of his mother's crown as a sign of his coronation.
