"Art Deco Tank Diamond Ball Ring On Platinum"
Platinum ring (mascaron head hallmark), ball shape of very beautiful volume thus evoking Tank jewelry from the 1940s. The ring itself is from the Art Deco period, which is revealed by its general aesthetic: use platinum and its characteristic color, a metal also allowing fine work that can be seen in particular on the finely beaded setting edges. This finesse in the production gives pride of place to numerous old-cut diamonds, including a larger one of 0.70 carat, set within a square element. This is the center of the dome around which are distributed, in gradients and in stages, curved and rectilinear arches which structure and give rhythm to the whole. The body ends with openwork palmettes, also very characteristic of this period. The particularly good quality diamonds offer high color and purity, and a fine crystallization which gives this rare jewel a sparkle of great vivacity. Total weight of diamonds estimated at approximately 4.60 carats (including center 0.70 ct) Gross weight: 9.85 g Finger circumference: 60 to measurement - possible resizing to be studied by our workshop (current diameter 2 cm / US size 9) Attention: this ball ring is hollowed out as is the classic jewelry design; the finger size can therefore be greater than the measurement and this design provides comfort and ease in carrying this large volume Condition: imperceptible micro-scratches on the body of the ring, natural inclusions in the diamonds not visible to the naked eye .
