"First Cornely Embroidered Muslin Lambrequin - Late 19th Century"
Circa 1880-1900 France a Lambrequin for window or bed skirt in cotton muslin embroidered with Cornély, dating from the Belle Epoque. Very fine white chain stitch embroidery on a cotton muslin background. Drawing of large bouquets with flower seedlings with borders also embroidered in shape and crenellated. For subdued light without fear of sunlight. A few rare small holes possibly to be repaired (Cornely 19th embroidery is never perfect!), clean and spotless, directly usable for a Hausmannian interior. Good general state of conservation. I have a second identical one which will be for sale. Dimensions: 175 cm long by 48 cm high
