Pierre Thuillier French painter (1799/1858) Oil on canvas representing an Italian riverside landscape of very beautiful brightness, with great finesse of execution. Beautiful perspective and very decorative. Pierre Thuillier benefited from the teaching of Watelet and Gudin before starting at the Salon des Artistes Royals in 1831. Traveling artist who visited Holland, Italy, the Maghreb and Provence. In the second part of his career the artist took pleasure in describing landscapes of Auvergne and Dauphine in a neoclassical spirit.
