Pair of cream-colored English earthenware plates, (creamware) offering the cameo profile of young Queen Victoria, in a pretty relief border decorated with roses, thistles and clover. (emblem of the United Kingdoms).
On golden banner: Accession 1837, Diamond Jubilee 1897, see photo.
Condition: good, never used for one, the second a little yellowed.
Dimensions: 9" = 23cm
Copeland, Spode Impl. Rd #90067. Period pair, dated 1897, well signed.
