Architectural element in gray sandstone. Sculpture in the round representing a worshiper in the Yang Mum or Po Romé style. Facies with a stuffy nose and full lips typically representing the Champa style. She has clasped hands and is adorned with jewelry. The headdress is stretched in the form of a bun. Dimensions excluding base: H: 44 cm; L: 24cm; W: 17cm. Origin: Vietnam. Dating: Champa - 10th to 14th century Provenance: Former Belgian collection acquired in the 1970s - Dr. VDW Collection
