Nicolas Bourgeois – Silver Metal Gravy Boat

Silver-plated gravy boat decorated with acanthus leaves on the friezes and decorated with torches and quivers tied with a ribbon on the handles.
It consists of the gravy boat part and its tray, the two of which can be separated by a screw system located below.
Note some light scratches from use.
Three small traces of de-silvering under the tray and one point of de-silvering inside the sauce boat.
Very good state.
Ideal for a pretty table.
French work from the end of the 19th century made by the goldsmith Nicolas Bourgeois and marked N.Bourgeois.
