Large “médusa” Cushion, Versace Workshop flag

Object description :

"Large “médusa” Cushion, Versace Workshop"
Very large, iconic and timeless rectangular cushion from the 1990s by Versace. Gianni Versace was one of the first designers in the world to understand the importance of creating a Couture and fashion house representing a true lifestyle. Since then, Versace has become synonymous not only with fashion, but also with an art of living. On each side of the cushion is represented a vase covered with a drape having a lion for a handle. Everything is surrounded by a sky in the form of a frieze evoking the painted ceilings of the 17th century. He thus chooses to refer to Greece and ancient Rome. Made of cotton and polyester, double-sided, this very decorative fringed cushion is decorated with a unique print. Each side has its colors. There are therefore two colors: a blue colored side and a yellow colored side. There is also the “Medusa” emblem. This one is “collector” and stamped “Atelier Versace”. Very few copies were created at the time. Cushion that can be paired. Two copies available.
