French altarpiece panel depicting the resurrected Jesus Christ appearing to the apostles after his resurrection.
Probably 18th century, comes from the same estate as our important painting of the Virgin of the Rosaries currently on sale, visible by clicking on my gallery.
Beautiful representation of Christ in high relief and the apostles in the background sculpted on the surface, the patina is superb thanks to the high quality mesh oak used. Good condition except for two missing fingers on the right hand and another on the left.
