Canvas 65.5 cm x 37.5 cm Total dim. 67.3 x 39.3 cm Sebastiano Ricci, Born 1 August 1659 in Belluno, Veneto and died May 15, 1734 in Venice, was an Italian Baroque painter of the late 17th and early 18th centuries, trained in Venice. He worked in many cities in Italy, but also in London, the Netherlands and Paris. He was admitted to the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture in Paris in 1718. His trip to London between 1712 and 1716 allowed the importation of Baroque into England.
