Louis RAMBAUD was born at the end of the 19th century. A very talented watercolorist, he specialized in the representation of mountain landscapes featuring Alpine hunters. His watercolors are very popular. This painting represents a column of Alpine hunters climbing the Col de Balme from the village of Le Tour.
