"Cabinet South Germany Late 16th Early 17th Century"
Rare cabinet on its veneer base on a resin core, inlays of blond wood, ash, maple, lemon, walnut and various species of stained wood. Furniture with an architectural facade, decorated with 18 inlaid drawers and decorated with tapered columns, and 2 leaves revealing a theater and 8 small secret drawers. The folding top opens onto a chest with geometric decorations and carved iron hinges. The sides are decorated with cherubs, flowers, arabesques, birds and wrought iron handles. The cabinet rests on a console table in inlaid and blackened wood with 2 drawers in the belt, 6 feet with fluted columns, spacer in the belt, everything is original. The locks and fittings are original. Beautiful state of conservation. Period late 16th early 17th century.
