Very beautiful artistic métal patine bronze. There is a blow on the base with two small holes in the liver boot. It is perhaps not necessary to restore. Louis Auguste Moreau born April 23, 1855 in Paris and died October 18 1919 in Montgeron is a French sculptor. He exhibited at the Salon of French Artists from 1875 where his works regularly won awards. He obtained a 3rd class medal of honor in 1880, a bronze medal at the Paris Universal Exhibition of 1889 and another bronze medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1900. His objects of art and academic decoration or Art Nouveau, often signed with his brother François “L & F Moreau”, will be widely printed in regula.
