Boxwood Treen, 19th Century, Corolles Egg Cup Holder

Charming display with 6 egg cups, made up of 16 boxwood turning pieces fit or glued together.

6 corolla-shaped egg cups, on turned bases, are each in one piece, with the pretty cutouts that you can see;
Dimensions = the whole: 18cm x 15cm, an egg cup: 6cm and 4.5cm.
Condition is good, cleaned, but there are still some traces. I had to glue the central support to the worn thread, and 2 egg cups have chips on  edges.
French work, circa 1880, period inspired by bamboo…..
