" Clock Portico In Bronze Mercury Gilding And Patinated Bronze"
Very beautiful model, portico clock from the Restoration period circa 1830. Made up of an elegant mixture of patinated bronze and mercury-gilded bronze with gold. Architecture with four columns with Corinthian capitals. The upper and lower part are decorated with a finely carved bas-relief of foliage and swans drinking from a fountain. The space between the columns is occupied by a finely and richly chiseled pendulum, bronze dial highlighted by a large outline of acanthus leaves.
Original mechanism without modification. Chiming of the hours and half hours on an old bell.
