The line is absolutely typical of the artist, particularly in the representation of the nose, eyebrows and hair. There is a beautiful movement in this drawing, with interesting volumes.
Marie Tissot
Born in Nice, France, Marie Tissot comes from an Italian-Tuscan family. From an early age, she was drawn to art, particularly painting and drawing.
She studied at the Visual Art Scool in Nice, before moving on to the European Art Academy in Trier, Germany. Over the course of her career, she has worked in numerous studios and shared a space with a famous Belgian painter who has remained her mentor.
Marie Tissot took part in major international exhibitions until 1970. For example, the artist was enthusiastically shortlisted for the New York Prize in 1973 and won.
Today, many collectors around the world treasure the works of Marie Tissot. The international "CRECY-MARINO" named her "Academic Knight" in 1999. Her studio is located in the heart of Mougins-Village, where Marie Tissot's gallery has been in existence since 1986.
She has exhibited in many places, including the Grand Palais, Japan and the United States.
