Magnificent German enamel snuff box from the 18th century in gilded metal, finely painted with allegorical scenes with 'putti' representing the four seasons. Notably, the second scene is located on the interior surface of the lid and at the base of the snuff box is a delicious allegory of the arts. Marked 523 in blue inside. Measurements: 4'5 x 6 x 8'5 cm.
