Burma, 1950s, very pretty and unusual group in polychrome wood representing a harnessed elephant surmounted by a palanquin in which there are two dignitaries. The palanquin slides above a hollow space allowing very small objects to be stored there. Both characters are removable. Quality creation with well preserved colors.Height 25.5 cm. Length 24.5 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone. Good condition except for slight wear and a missing part of the animal's tail, without affecting the beautiful aesthetic.
