Small living room table with three drawers, one of which forms a writing tablet, inlaid with four-leaf grids in sycamore and lemon tree, sheath legs with crotch shelf and screen forming a mirror.
Work from the Louis XVI period, stamped G.DESTER, Godefroy Dester (died December 24, 1805), Master July 27, 1774.

Provenance: An identical table is preserved at the Cognacq-Jay museum, it is therefore likely that our table is the one that sold in Paris on November 15, 1983 at Maîtres Ader, Picard, Tajan illustrée P.298, Le Mobilier Français du XVIIIème siècle, dictionary of cabinetmakers and carpenters, Pierre Kjellberg, Editions de l'amateur
