Adolphe Jean Lavergne, “Lizard Charmer”. Sculpture circa 1900, signed Lavergne, titled on the front on a cartridge "Charmeur de Lézards" by Lavergne, Bronze with red brown patina, representation of a street boy with a flute on which a lizard stands, on a flat rectangular plinth with a small obelisk to which a lizard is also attached, Height 38 cm. The stick initially held in the left hand is missing. Information about the artist: Parisian sculptor was a student of François Jouffroy, participated in the Paris Salon in 1863, 1876 and 1892, some of his works were exhibited at the Périgueux Museum.
