Two large bay windows from a period Art Deco seaside hotel in Côtes d'Armor (Saint Cast Le guildo, coast of Saint Briac at Cap Fréhel).They are overall in very good condition, very solid and rigid. The paint played its protective role and a simple brushing revealed the steel in very good condition (see last photo).
Each bay is presented in four panels maximum height 262 cm total width 381 cm
Width from left to right (photo1): 110 - 83 - 80 - 108 cm = 381 cm (twice therefore)
The door dimensions are: height 220 cm width 163 cm (83+80 cm)
They were installed in 1925. The peripheral frames are made of 35mm angle iron, the other metal elements are made of 25mm angle iron. The two large pull handles are made of ribbed wrought iron. The doors hinge on a metal pivot.
They are overall in very good condition, very solid and rigid. I
n addition to their large glazed surface, the bays have an obvious graphic quality.
They can energize an outbuilding facade, a store facade, create a surprise in a hotel, a workshop, etc.
The doors are prettily monogrammed 'HPS' from the name of the hotel : Hôtel des Pierres Sonnantes, monogram with reuse that can become a signature
