Beautiful and rare document, portrait of the sculptor at 25 years old. Son of painters Lucien Simon and Jeanne Dauchez, Paul Simon is a student of Antoine Bourdelle. He specialized in animal sculpture. The drawing is by Paul Eugène Ledoux (1884-1960) a French painter, engraver and illustrator of Alsatian origin. Student of Fernand Cormon at the Beaux-Arts in Paris
