Limoges porcelain reaffirmed its notoriety in 1925 during the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, held in Paris in 1925. It gave its name in the style that flourished in the 1925s: Art Deco. Many manufacturers then called on renowned artists including Lalique, Dufy, Sandoz… Several of the services presented offered architectural forms, close to Cubism. The Second World War dealt a heavy blow to Limoges porcelain and its industry had to face several challenges.
