Ideal for decorating a men's bathroom, lovely men's toilet set in cut glass and solid silver from the Art Deco period, each piece with the number JG in intaglio guilloche stick letters. Each glass angle is smoothed with a grinding wheel. All the pieces are decorated with four vertical millstone cuts in the glass on either side of the piece as well as on the reverse, typical of the decorative repertoire of the Art Deco era. It consists of: - Three eau de cologne bottles with their screw cap (10.3 cm x 7 cm and 4 cm deep). - A toothbrush tube (16.7 cm x 3.7 cm in diameter) - A soap box (9.3 cm x 6.3 cm and 4 cm deep) - A cream box (4.5 cm x 6 cm in diameter) - Two ivory galalith brushes Total weight (excluding brushes): 1,150 kg Weight of lids and stoppers: 120 g to which must be added the weight of the non-weighable silver base of each bottle. Each cap as well as the neck of the bottles mounted in silver, each lid is hallmarked Minerva 1st title + the goldsmith's diamond hallmark. All bottles have their original cut inner glass cap with cut sides. The inside of the lids is gilded, traces of gilding on the screw thread of the caps and on the neck of the bottles. Very good general condition. The bottom of each piece is polished. Scratches from use on the inside of the covers, micro-scratches. A halo on the lid of the cream box.
