Porcelain “à Vaisseau” Potpourri, Sèvres Manufacture, 19th Century flag

Object description :

"Porcelain “à Vaisseau” Potpourri, Sèvres Manufacture, 19th Century"

Following the potpourri made especially for Madame de Pompadour by Duplessis at the Sèvres factory, the 19th century will remember this masterful piece dating from 1760. Under the Second Empire, the factory offered charming versions, still in porcelain, while historicism is all the rage. Our « à vaisseau » potpourri is in very good condition, colored with imperial green and illuminated with elegant gilding.
