Compere : Rare Ice Cream Service In Sterling Silver & Vermeil - Winter Decor

Extraordinary and sublime Louis XV style Ice Cream Service in solid silver and vermeil. The service comprises 12 spoons with monogrammed handles, and spoon wells richly decorated (each different) with meticulously detailed landscapes with Houses / Church / Windmill under the Snow, and Stalactites on the upper part. The service is presented in a wooden box from Maison Coué Joaillier in Rennes.
Masterly hand crafted from the finest quality silver, each piece is punched with the Minerva 1st Standard Hallmark (.950) and mark of Master Goldsmith Vve COMPERE active in 1888. Revised and cleaned by our Parisian silversmith, condition is excellent with just light signs of use to note.  A rare and exceptional service to grace the finest of tables...
