Patinated bronze sculpture executed by Georges Omerth represents the British Field Marshal John Denton Pinkstone French (1852-1825) who distinguished himself among others during the Sudan campaign (1884), during the Boer War (1899-1901), and who between 1914 and 1915 commanded the English expeditionary force in France.
