Important and spectacular soup tureen in solid silver from PUIFORCAT resting on a circular pedestal with a large guilloché border. The body is bordered at the rim with a row of gadroons and pearls. The handles feature spectacular Mascarons, and fthe finial on the domed lid represents a large Pine Cone resting on a leafy terrace with florets. Very finely crafted from the highest quality silver, both body and lid are punched with the Minerva 1st Title hallmark (.950) and marks ofMaster Goldsmith Emile PUIFORCAT active in 1857. Weighing an impressive 2.1 kg, this prestigious PUIFORCAT Tureen is in excellent condition, furthermore serviced and cleaned by our Parisian Goldsmith, and just micro-scratches from use .
