"Winged Armchair Called "confessional" Regency Style, 19th Century"
Very beautiful shepherdess with ears, also called "confessional" shepherdess, Regency style. This large and comfortable armchair is very richly and finely carved throughout its woodwork. Fine scrolls and very stylized acanthus leaves accompany beautiful shells and plant motifs. Attention to detail is present in each of the sculptures. A beautiful X-shaped spacer completes the elegance of the base. Our shepherdess is in superb condition of woodwork. The covering fabric is cream in color, it is in good condition but has some traces of use that a light cleaning will no doubt completely remove. Manufactured in the second half of the 19th century.
