Light cavalry sabre, model 1822, 19th century. Brass frame, beaded cap topped with a dome with a short tail. Buffalo horn rocket with twisted brass wire filigree. Joining arch with 2 secondary branches connected to the plate ending in an inflected beak. Blade with 1 edge and 2 hollow sides, marked "BALP" (ST-ETIENNE) and blade tie present. Metal scabbard with 1 bracelet and bail ring.
