Edouard Mandon, painter from Lorraine, was essentially a painter of the sea who specialized in painting waves in heavy weather. Silver medal at the Salon de la Société Lorraine des Beaux-arts, Winner of the Competition for Marine Painters in Paris in 1937. Exhibition at the Salon des Beaux-Arts in Nancy in 1938, He painted notably in Brittany and in the South of France. Dimensions with wooden frame: 50x100cm
