Very beautiful Toraja attic door, carved in high relief of a buffalo surmounted by a character. The buffalo augurs wealth and symbolizes good harvests. The use of this object led its owner to cover it with a black pigment which protects it from bad weather. Brought back to Belgium in the mid-1980s.
