Bronze incense burner in the shape of a horse. The walls are very thick, the sculpture is in sand-cast bronze, the carving is soft and precise. This horse incense burner is powerful and has a very beautiful old antique green patina which makes it a venerable object which has a strong presence. Missing tail tip, worn ears, no closing lid on the incense burner (see photos). Superb charming object, very heavy but very stable. Chinese work, 18th century or earlier.
