Georges Charpentier is a French painter born in 1845, died in 1925.
Student of Fernand Cormon, he exhibited in Paris, at the Salon des Artistes Français . Third class medal in 1908.
Best known as a marine painter, his favorite subjects were the ports of La Rochelle, Dieppe and Brittany.
