A copy of this image can be found at La Médiathèque du Patrimoine et de la Photographie as well as in the Bonfils collection of the Library of Congress, Washington, USA. - Under mat 40x50cm - Photo Format 22.5 x 27 cm - Cardboard Format 27.5 x 36 cm Felix Bonfils is a French photographer (1831 - 1885). He learned photography from Niepce de Saint-Victor, nephew of Nicéphore Niepce. He opened his photographic workshop in 1867 in Beirut, Lebanon, where he specialized in the architecture and landscapes of Egypt, Palestine, Syria and Greece.
