Large Louis Philippe period fireplace mirror in wood and gilded stucco. Very elegant model with an engraving of flowers and foliage around the edge and a frieze of pearls towards the inside of the mirror. Like all mirrors from this era, there are cracks in the rounded corners at the top. The ice was changed as well as the parquet flooring which was replaced by a sheet of plywood to lighten the whole thing. Louis Philippe period around 1840.
