This tool, made entirely in the forge, is an authentic testimony to the traditional work of blacksmiths in the second half of the 19th century. Intended for hot marking wine barrels and cases, it embodies ancient and refined know-how.

It is equipped with beautiful turned wooden handles, divided into two parts: a first fixed, serving as a handle, and a second rotating, equipped with a metal protection to avoid projections during use. This ingenious system allows the impression part to be easily oriented, thus facilitating marking.

The hallmark is decorated with a stylized bunch of grapes and the inscription “HAUT SAUTERNES” in full, in connection with the prestigious Sauternes wine. The oldest known bottles of this wine "date from 1855", thus corroborating the time of manufacture of the tool.

A magnificent object, ideal for a collection of old tools, curiosities, or to bring a touch of authenticity to a cellar.

(The packages are always packaged by me and entrusted to the carrier (+ or -) 3/4 working days after payment into my account. Any customs duties requested by the customer's country are due by the buyer and are therefore calculated and already included in the transport price).

2nd) - Possibility of hand delivery under conditions of full collection or payment of a deposit. (issuance of an essential receipt by return email and must be given upon delivery or collection).
