"Pair Of Louis XVI Period Armchairs"
Pair of Louis XVI period armchairs in lacquered beech. This pair of armchairs is particularly well sculpted and all of the iconography of the style is represented there. Note the fluted feet with a roughening ending in an asparagus point, and also the crosspieces decorated with heart spokes. The patinated lacquer is original. Restored by our workshop, these seats are covered in linen velvet from Casal and decorated with braid from Passementerie Île de France.
