François Cevert born in 1943, died in 1973 at only 29 years old during Grand Prix testing of the United States at Watkins Glen. Great French hope. The Scottish Jackie Stewart, five years his senior, multiple winner, took François Cevert under his wing, without jealousy or rivalry. he obtained his first podium, Tyrrell's first double, on July 4, 1971 at the French Grand Prix on the Paul Ricard circuit. In 1971, he won his first success in Formula 1 at Watkins Glen. Following his death, Jackie Stewart ended his career as a Formula 1 driver. Philippe Ledru born in 1942, French photographer. After working for UNESCO, he decided to become a professional photographer and went on a reporting trip to South Africa, Angola and Mozambique. He joined the Sygma agency in the early 1970s. He left to capture events in Indonesia and Cambodia. In the 1980s, he regularly covered film festivals in Cannes and Deauville. His photo reports are regularly published in major French and international magazines.
