Very Rare Oak Dutch mangling Board 17th Century. 
Very rare to find a plain middle section.
Fine carving on the top and on the base, and on the top carved with the initials R.I.
On the top carving you see also the typical 17th. Century ornament of a row of peas and on te two sides you see two typical 17th. Century profiles carved in the wood from top til base,
The Mangling board is in wonderful original good used condition with beautiful original old patination,
High: 76 cm, wide: 14.5 cm thick: 2 cm
To your information: these type of mangling boards where made by men to give it to their women they loved and in most of the cases it was given by a marriage, in the Netherlands this was a tradition.
