Oil painting on wooden panel from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century representing a street view with the facade of a palace and an open window in midsummer by Mariano Fortuny. Remarkable and complete artist, 1881 1949 student of Benjamin Constant he settled in Venice in 1888 in an old palace which he restored and which exists today as a museum. He worked with Paul Poiret and was very famous as a fabric designer. Very interesting painting first of all by its workmanship and its quality of production and the atmosphere evoking summer and the great heat. Rare work on the market for this great artist.
