"Vietnam Thanh Le Lacquer Box"
Large lady's dressing table box in lacquered wood. Origin Vietnam, 1920-30 period produced by the house N Guyen Thanh Le, now Thanh Le Studio. Large model with decoration of a painted landscape with an ivory doe and a “BA” monogram. The interior is equipped with a large mirror, 1 brush, 1 hand mirror, 1 jewelry box and 2 round boxes all in painted lacquered wood and decorated with ivory deer. Beautiful, careful workmanship. very good general condition, note: - a lack of ivory decoration on the tray which should represent 2 deer, - a missing comb - the HS musical chime
