Fireback dated 1700, vintage 18th century, lettered (L)N and (F)S, with the alliance arms of Claude-Jacques de La Palud (1614/18-1692/98) count of Bouligneux, advisor to the king, captain-lieutenant of 200 men-at-arms of Queen Anne of Austria and Marie-Henriette le Hardy du Fay de la Trousse (1636-1720), countess of Bouligneux, Meilly, Rouvres, etc…Aunt of Mme de Sévigné.
